MERO Dispatch, 11/19/05
The Mokshan Extra-Regional Operative Corps is in a period of diminished activity while dealing with some pressing internal affairs. It's nothing to be concerned about. We will be back to full activity in mid-December. Until then, we will post updates with the latest news from the Moksha region. Diplomatic concerns can be best addressed to Librarium if action of any sort is required on an immediate basis.
Deimos Project Moves Forward
The Savini 3 rocket carrying the colonies of XRay Deimos, Deimotic Zombies, and Spacefaring Cows touched down on the surface of Deimos, the outermost moon of Mars. All colonies are now active and automated mole vehicles are digging the primary tunnels to begin the process of disembarking from the lander.
The terraforming of Deimos has begun. A siliceous C60 shield, to which allows for the buildup of the atmosphere and protection from radiation, has been put in place. Mining operations are underway to be followed by basic agriculture in the near term.
Moksha and United Federation of Planets Ink Alliance
Moksha and the United Federation of Planets have formalized a full alliance. This marks the first for Moksha, still a young and growing region. The alliance insures openness ties between the regions on matters of trade, technology transfer, military aid, and immigration. Speaking on the UFP senate's vote on the agreement, the UFP ambassador said, "It was UNANIMOUS, nearly unheard of even for the UFP."
New Nation Joins Moksha Region
Moksha welcomed its newest member nations, the Grand Duchy of Purnahuti and The Rogue Nation of Warm Winter. Including ambassador nations, the region now has 45 members
