The Dominion of Lothrain consists of 12 planets, 20 moons, and an uncounted number of small asteroid mining settlements.
Core Worlds
The governmental capital and home-world of the Dominion is Primus Lothrain. Once a polluted, bleak place ruined by previous generation's drives for progress. Now, a beautiful paradise renown as "environmentally stunning", thanks to massive terraforming and atmosphere scrubbers. pop:1 Billion
Dominion industry is based on the planets of MireI, MireII, and MireIII. The planets are barren and incapable of supporting life. However, their mineral wealth and readily available geothermal energy make them perfect for industrial production. All settlements are covered by large protective domes. combined pop:7 Billion
The financial center of the Dominion is the planet Ceil. Every major corporation and private financial institution is based here. The Dominion Stock exchange is also based here(the DLE 1000, trading in Lothrains top 1000 corporations). The planets three moons Syn, Fearn, and Tanin are giant bazaars. You can buy almost anything here. Ceil pop:3 Billion, Combined moons pop: 500 million fluctuating.
Aiel is the "bread basket" of the Dominion. The whole of the planet is covered in planted fields, orchards, fisheries, and livestock farms. The large degree of automation allows a relatively small population to accomplish the numerous tasks of planting, caring for, and harvesting the resources. pop:2 Billion
The planet Torn is the center of Lothrains military machine. Fleet command is based here along with the [glow=red,2,300]Tiger Officers Academy[/glow]. Torn is the primary training ground for Dominion soldiers; it's wide variety of climates and terrains make it perfect for the purpose.
The [glow=red,2,300]Torn Orbital Yards [/glow]construct all Dominion military vessels. V'al, Torns only moon is the base for the [glow=red,2,300]Dominion Interplanetary Police Agency(DIPA)[/glow], which oversees civilian law enforcement. V'al is also the location of [glow=red,2,300]Shydow[/glow], Lothrains Super Maximum Security Prison, where only the worst of the worst are sent. Torn pop:1 Billion fluctuating, V'al pop: 537 million fluctuating.
Rift Worlds
The first world of interest beyond the Core, Serai, is a world very similar to Primus Lothrain in natural beauty and wealth. The planet was discovered and settled by private interests. At the time of the planets discovery the Core was beginning to become crowded. Many people, especially from the industrial Mire worlds, began to rush to this new frontier to start a better life. The planet developed a balanced economy in resources, services, and light manufacturing. Serai is the single most populous planet in the Dominion. pop: 5 Billion
The desert world of Iras caught the eye of a major mining group when a new metal was discovered beneath it's sands. The metal Shadium was stronger than any other known metal while still being light enough for use on atmospheric fighter craft. Cities quickly sprouted around the deposits as people rushed to fill the new jobs. The discovery of Shadium in certain asteroids and moons has diminished the planet as a production center, but Iras still remains a major refining center. pop: 584 Million
The gas giant Tzaker is an excelent source of the gasses Harbrine & Aeon, which are used in intra-system ion drives (ion drives are used by small freighters and other vessels not capable of faster-than-light travel). The planets ten moons are rich in Shadium, much of which is sent to Iras for refining. It was not seen as necessary to give the moons proper names, and as such they were simply given alpha-numeric designations (Tzm1-Tzm10). pop: 5,000 per shift -- Population consists solely of workers. Workers come in for shifts of one standard Dominion year (a year on Primus Lothrain). The operations are totally automated. Workers serve a command and control function.
The resort world of Euphoria is owned by Zara Pleasures Incorporated, a company reknowned for making it's customers happy. Euphoria is the obvious destination for anyone seeking rest, relaxation, and a good time. The company motto, "If we don't have it, You don't want it" speaks volumes. In the words of one customer, "Pure paradise...Ahhhh yah thats the spot." pop: 15 Million workers w/ automated assistance -- an Avg. of 100 Million visitors at all times.
