Quote:Clause 4. In case of the removal of the president from office, or of his death, resignation, or inability to discharge the powers and duties of the said office, the same shall devolve on the vice president. In light of recent events and meaning no dissrespect to New Zimbabwe should give power to the senate in which the VP has the equal say in the issues as the senators untill a holding time of a preset amount has passed and we have a snap election to determine the new leader of the Federation.

I disagree. The President has already picked the man whom she/he feels is appropriate to act in his/her stead by naming New Zimbabwe the VP during elections.
Besides, the Consitution doesn't say that the Senate should take on the duties of President when he/she is unavailable - it says the VP should. Otherwise, what is the point of having a VP?
Furthermore, I've been instructed by Admiral Janeway that as soon as his Internet problems are fixed later on this week, he will be back.
So just sit tight. New Zimbabwe will carry us through this week and then Janeway should be back.
